Mu Cang Chai terraced field

Mu Cang Chai yellow terraced fields
(Yen Bai Province) in the North-
west highlands are 1,750m high
compared with sea level, far 300km
of mountain pass and slope road
from Ha Noi.

Visiting Mu Cang Chai, tourists
will be surprised at amid the high
mountains with full of obstacles
and difficult of access; there are the
gigantic and endless terraced fields
of Mong people. In this region,
there are approximately 90% Mong

and De Xu Phinh, 500ha of terraced
fields have been kept intact and is
the relic of Mong, which was ranked
to be the national level relic.
